teaches Cross-Cultural Management, Asian Business and Corporate Strategy as well as various methodology and topical course in the PHD. Dr. Swierczek was the founding Director of the Swiss-AIT Management Development Program which began in 1992 in Vietnam.
Dr. Swierczek has been an active consultant and researcher in Thailand for the World Bank, UNDP and UNEP in the development of the capital market, credit rating, corporate governance, organization development and corporate social responsibility. He has been involved with other institutions such as the office of Civil Service, NASTDA, and the Thai Business Council for Sustainability and Thailand Environmental Institute in major projects. He has served as an advisor for various corporations such as Bangkok Bank, Shin Corporation, Siam Cement and DHL.
Dr. Swierczek has published a wide range of monographs, book chapters and articles on the topics in cross-cultural management, Asian business, strategic implementation and organizational change. His research has been published in international journals, such as The Learning Organization, Journal of Enterprising Culture, Journal of Corporate Citizenship, Journal of Enterprising Culture, Leadership and Organizational Development, Technovation, The International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He is a past winner of the Douglas McGregor Memorial Prize for excellence in applied behavioral science and a two-time winner of the John F. Kennedy Fulbright Scholar award.
